Friendly staff & good sandwiches although they were pricey given their modest size.

Great Cranberry Chicken Salad sandwich! You can get half or a whole sandwich. Comes with chips too. It was the perfect amount to split & not be too full while we shop.
The bread was fresh, soft, & tasted wonderful. Everyone was extremely polite & helpful. Overall a great place to grab a bite. We’ll be back.
.. do keep in mind that there is very little parking for this place. But there is plenty of parking all around it.
Amazing food! Bread, sandwiches and scones to die for!
Great sandwiches!
Popped in very late in the day on a Friday, having read about the place on line. Took home a loaf of semolina bread..DELICIOUS. Woman who recommended it suggested it was like Crack. She wasn’t wrong.
Sure enough, next morning we were back, she greeted us with a good laugh and we walked out with scones, a cherry bread, chocolate chip cookie and small cherry crisp. All exceptional.
If I lived in door county this place would be my undoing. Besides the great baked goods, the folks who work here/run the place are the nicest..
Thank you!
****EXPENSIVE SANDWICHES AND VERY GOOD BREAD****
The bread here is definitely homemade and 5 star quality. The sandwiches on the other hand…enh. In short, they are VERY over priced for what you get. It’s very simple. Not in a bad way though. Just something a person could easily make at home. It’s not like there is some amazing secret to them or ingredient that will make it unforgettable. They have minimal topping and are rather skimpy (just being honest). I definitely recommend the bread! The staff were very nice also. We did not try the desserts, as we wanted to go elsewhere for that. However, they looked tasty.
You had me at Chicken Pot Pie. This is the best Chicken Pot Pie we have ever had. The crust is to die for. Don’t forget to order some of there amazing bread and dessert to go as well.
A must stop while in EggHarbor. ?
Overpriced for average food. Ordered 3 basic sandwiches (2 were 1/2 sandwich w/ soup for .50 more than a whole sandwich) and 3 can of soda for over $46. The sandwiches were nothing special, basic meat, some lettuce and barely there mayo, but the bread was good. Two of us got the cheddar broccoli soup and it was flavorless. There were slimy chuncks of orange stuff in it that I’m pretty sure was the cheese sauce that was not blended in. Needless to say, we ended up not eating it after discovering that (I dumped half the bowl before thinking to take a pic of the orange gloop). Will not be back.
The chicken salad sandwich is amazing, you must try it even if you don’t like chicken salad. The tomato soup is a bit too sweet with some very large chunks of tomatoes and diced onions which gave it a strange texture. The Mushroom bisque was very good. They are very nice and if they are open I recommend on going there.
