Terrific bread, friendly staff, even good deals on their day old bread. I buy a bunch and keep it in the freezer. Next time I go I want to try their sandwiche’s because I’ve heard so many good things about them
Fantastic selection of artisan breads!
The staff was friendly and the sandwiches were delicious!
Bread so beautiful I didn’t know what to eat but the free samples and friendly owners helped me get a better sandwich than I expected by far. The amazing bread pudding with homemade caramel was worth a trip all by itself.
You will never have a better tuna salad sandwich. The bread that day was white with semolina. It was soft with strength to not break down under the weight of the hefty tuna salad. And full of flavor too. Other breads sampled were outstanding. Fun and friendly owners are gifted bread artisans.
Lady behind the counter was not nice. My sandwich was also not very good. Wish I would have went to the bbq joint across the street.
We were in Door County a couple of weeks ago, and stopped at MacReady Artisan Bread Company our first day there. We loved it so much that we ended up eating breakfast or lunch there five out of our seven days in Door County, and took some bread home with us! Can’t say enough about how nice everyone was, and everything we tried was outstanding. Make sure to try their soups, my husband said their tomato parmesan soup is the best he’s ever had. I wish we were closer so we could go there more often; definitely a go-to place in Door County, you will not be disappointed!! Thanks Mike & Jenny!
Nice place, friendly crew, beautiful breads. I ordered a tuna sandwich to go that was presented to me in roughly 45 seconds. The styrofoam box consisted of two slices of bread with tuna mixed with celery inside. For $9 bucks I expected at least a crunch of iceberg… The bread wasn’t bad.
Terrific sandwiches on their artisan breads, soup, fresh bread–the BEST!
