Love this bakery. Everyone is so friendly and it’s truly a family affair. Their scones & cherry bread are to die for! (Bread out of the oven around 10am). Headed back to Door County this weekend and I will be at Maccready’s several times a week.

Wow, what great bread. We had a day old loaf on french that was amazing. And a sugar cookie which was very different from the usual sugar cookie. Liked them so much we stopped by on our way home for more.

Such wonderful service and fantastic food (especially the cherry cranberry bread and sandwiches)! This will now be a staple for our family on every Door County trip!

Makes a great lunch stop and tables outside to sit and enjoy lunch and soak in the sun.

Great Cranberry Chicken Salad sandwich! You can get half or a whole sandwich. Comes with chips too. It was the perfect amount to split & not be too full while we shop.
The bread was fresh, soft, & tasted wonderful. Everyone was extremely polite & helpful. Overall a great place to grab a bite. We’ll be back.

.. do keep in mind that there is very little parking for this place. But there is plenty of parking all around it.

Quite possibly one of the best Italian sandwiches I have ever had on the freshest bakery bread – crusty on the outside soft on the inside. Our sandwiches were HUGE, but mine was so good that I ate my way through the better part of it. They were also serving a mushroom soup that was piping hot and absolutely delicious. I loved this hidden gem.
