Friendly staff & good sandwiches although they were pricey given their modest size.

Beautiful sunday they had a band playing in a gazebo. Upon noticing the line pressed up to the door i thought id listen to music let the line dwindle a bit. Covid and whatnot didnt want to make ppl uncomfortable squeezing in. Was met with several passive agressive comments from what i assume was the owner or manager about customer only parking. He needs to learn how to treat ppl and patrons with respect and maybe not make assumptions about ppl. Take your business elsewhere! Rude!

Great food, fantastic bread.

We were in Door County a couple of weeks ago, and stopped at MacReady Artisan Bread Company our first day there. We loved it so much that we ended up eating breakfast or lunch there five out of our seven days in Door County, and took some bread home with us! Can’t say enough about how nice everyone was, and everything we tried was outstanding. Make sure to try their soups, my husband said their tomato parmesan soup is the best he’s ever had. I wish we were closer so we could go there more often; definitely a go-to place in Door County, you will not be disappointed!! Thanks Mike & Jenny!

Fast (the sandwiches were done before the credit card receipt printed!), friendly, and delicious chicken salad. However, it was a tiny, tiny, sandwich, especially for the price. I went away hungry.

Love this bakery. Everyone is so friendly and it’s truly a family affair. Their scones & cherry bread are to die for! (Bread out of the oven around 10am). Headed back to Door County this weekend and I will be at Maccready’s several times a week.

The scones and cookies are awesome. When we were there, they sold their day old bread buy one get one free, still tasted delicious.

We love their sandwiches and high quality bread! Especially the hippie bread!!
